Chinese VT5 LightWeight Main Battle Tank (MBT)
Chinese VT-5 Light Main Battle Tank (MBT) is getting ready for display at Zhuhai 'Airshow China 2016'. China will be displaying wide range of Chinese developed weapons at this airshow to attract exports.
The Chinese VT5 LightWeight Main Battle Tank (MBT) is armed with a 105 mm rifled gun which can hit target at distance of over 3000m and It is powered by a 1,000 hp diesel engine. The VT5 MBT's combat weight is around 36t depending upon armour package used. The VT5 is available with advanced composite armour, explosive reactive armour (ERA) for extra protection.
